Pathos by madfox43 Pathos by madfox43
So I guess this is a series now. 2nd in 3.

[1] Ethos: [link]

Bryce 5.5

Alas, I believe credit is due where credit is deserved. The 'spheres' are inspired by a work one of the peeps I watch made: [link]
I admit, his are much better.

Wallpaper version: [link]

Enjoy.

It's one of the presets.

Or you can select no atmosphere and set it to white.

Indeed? Good thing I didn't decide to switch things up on you and go for Logos.

Well, you started with Ethos and I knew the next one would be either one, Logos or Pathos. I would have said the same thing either way.

I was just joking. I didn't expect you to comment back. Heh, I really only said it for my own enjoyment. Hope I didn't offend you. But I do like the picture! Keep up the good work.

Definitly being modest :) but thanks. I like most of what is in your gallery too. What do you usualy use? I know you have to use some photoshop.

Nope, I don't have photoshop.

I use Bryce 5.5 almost exclusively.

I used Microsoft Paint to add the borders onto the WP version of this, but that's it.
The other exception would be on Defense, which I made back in school where I had access to photoshop and other such programs.

Wow, paint.... You are a brave man. Heh. I almost can't believe that; bryce lets you do that much? Impressive.

I suppose.

Bryce can do some fairly amazing things if you know how to coax them out of it.
Not that I'm calling myself a Bryce Master, but I've seen work by other people done solely in Bryce that made me feel pretty darn inferior.

I know someone who would like to see your work. He told me that bryce isn't a very complicated program. He wants to use cinema 4D like me but I told him that bryce is just as good. I am going to show him your gallery to prove my point.

No worries. Your comment wasn't offensive at all.
But truly told, looking at your gallery you definitely could do that.
Better, probably.... your stuff looks fairly more sophisticated than mine.

But maybe I'm just being modest. ;)

this is definitely my new favorite of yours

do you think you could turn it into a 1280x1024 wallpaper for me?

Sure thing, man.

Getting the black bars back onto it could be a little interesting, but I can always try.
If not... you'll just have to enjoy it the way it would have turned out if not for a moment of interested thought I ran into.

Add a cockpit and make those spheres small turrets and you could have a concept star fighter here.

Perhaps.

I think I'll let someone else build it.
Although what I had before was something of a fighter, it involved the spheres and some cylinder arrangements on either side. That I might expand upon.

Cool, I love it when things like this can look like something else and with only a few tweaks you can create something totally different.
